Broadview Hotel Website FAQs
Where can I park?
We offer self-parking for $28.00 per night for hotel guests, located just behind the hotel at the end of the alley. It has limited parking spots and availability is on a first-come-first-serve-basis. Please ensure to ask the Front Desk agent for a parking tag at check-in once you secure a spot with us.
There is also a public GREEN P (#045) parking lot across the street on Broadview Ave as the alternative option. The Rate is currently as follows: $2.00 per half hour between 7am-6pm / $6 flat rate overnight from 6pm-7am. We suggest downloading the Green P app for your convenience.
How do I get there on transit?
Located at 106 Broadview Ave, Toronto, ON M4M 2G1, you will find two street car stops right outside our door – Broadview Ave at Queen East for North / South travel, and Queen St East at Broadview if you are coming East/West.
The closest subway station is Broadview Station, located 2km north of the hotel.
The hotel is a 10-15minute drive from Union Station, and approximately a 40 minute drive from Pearson International Airport.
What is your pet policy?
Pets are welcome at The Broadview hotel! You can call in advance of your stay and we will get everything in order. A few things to note:
- The weight limitations have been listed as a maximum of 50 pounds. If your pet exceeds this, please contact the Front Desk so that we can learn about the personality of your dog and look at alternative arrangements if needed.
- We charge a pet fee of $25.00 per night. If you’re staying with us for 3 nights or more, the total fee is $75.00. This will be applied and charged to your guest room folio upon check-out.
- A waiver must be signed agreeing to a potential $250 cleaning fee if your pet causes any damages to the room.
- Dependent on the personality of your pet, you may leave them in the room unattended as long as proper measures are in place to ensure no damage is done during the absence. We ask you to remember to place a Do Not Disturb sign, so our housekeeping team is aware not to disrupt your pet’s day!
What is your cancellation policy?
ecause you can book with us directly or through third party platforms, cancellation terms vary per booking. Please refer to the reservation policies while you are making your reservation. These can be found during the booking process and in your reservation confirmation.
What time is check out / check-in?
Check in time is 3pm & check out time is 11am
Do you have special room rates or packages?
Yes! We offer media rates and have a variety of packages available!
Are your room promotions stackable?
Our room promotions, including discounts and packages, are not stackable. Only one promotion can be applied per booking. If you have additional questions, please reach out to our guest services team at info@thebroadviewhotel.ca
I am planning a wedding / birthday / event, who can I speak to?
Congratulations! We’d love to celebrate your special day together. For event inquiries please reach out to events@thebroadviewhotel.ca and someone from our team will be in touch.
Can I take my engagement photos at your hotel?
While we would love to offer photography access to all our wonderful guests, we are limited to the intimate spaces we have available for our restaurant patrons, as well as our in-house weddings and events. As a result, we are unable to accommodate further photography access to our spaces.

Is the hotel wheelchair accessible?
We take extensive measures to best align with AODA standards, but recognize that as a historical building, we face certain challenges with smaller passages and dimensions. Unfortunately, guest suite bathroom facilities may not be suitable if you are a wheelchair user, have limited mobility or a physical disability.
The Rooftop and Bistro are accessible, with an accessible washroom located in the lower level of the hotel (via elevator).
What is your policy to ensure a safe stay for all guests & staff?
The Broadview Hotel is a safe space where all are welcome. We take every precaution reasonable in the circumstances towards providing a safe and inclusive environment whether related to Team Members, as well as guest or vendors. All Team Members are responsible for helping to create an environment that is free from violence, bullying, harassment, sexual harassment and/or discrimination. The Broadview Hotel endorses and embraces the Canadian Human Rights Act and the Ontario Human Rights Code, which prohibit harassing or discriminatory practices. Can I use debit or cash at check in?
Our hotel is cashless, and a valid credit card must be provided at check in. You may use debit card at check out but will need to provide a vaild CC at check in for the duration of your stay. Our restaurants accept cash, debit and major credit cards.
Can I store bags before check in or after check out?
Yes! Front desk is happy to store your bags until you are ready.
Is there a gym?
Unfortunately, we do not have a gym onsite, but Hone Fitness is within walking distance, along with some great pilates, yoga and spin studios! The front desk is happy to point you in the right direction.
Is there WIFI?
Of course! There is free WIFI in all public areas and guest rooms.
What is your smoking policy?
All guest rooms & hotel spaces are completely nonsmoking and subject to a $250 CDN in-room smoking fee.
